Delivered in partnership with Qatar's Ministry of Defense, represented by the National Service Academy, the awareness campaign under the "Leaders of Tomorrow" program has been concluded by the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (Aman), one of the centers affiliated with the Qatari Foundation for Social Work. Through a series of educational workshops offered to the children enrolled in the program, the initiative aimed to raise community awareness and understanding of issues related to bullying and technology-facilitated extortion.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Fadl Al-Kaabi, Acting Executive Director of the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (Aman), emphasized the significance of strengthening cooperation with the National Service Academy as a means of enhancing awareness and educating program participants. Over the course of July 2026, Aman's workshops reached more than 500 participants, shedding light on critical topics such as bullying and technology-facilitated extortion. "Through the efforts of our specialized team in delivering these awareness workshops, we aim to equip the children participating in the “Leaders of Tomorrow” program with the knowledge to follow proper social protection practices, recognize how to safeguard themselves against technology-facilitated extortion and bullying, and respond to such challenges in a constructive manner," he said. He added that awareness and prevention during childhood represent a fundamental step in shaping a child's character, noting that children are the future and the promising generation upon whom the building of a strong, advanced society depends. 

Mr. Al-Kaabi further affirmed the center's commitment to reinforcing national identity and a sense of belonging among the participating children, alongside its broader contribution to community service through the organization of numerous awareness-raising and interactive activities designed to develop the children's leadership skills and build their self-confidence.

For her part, Ms. Bakhita Al-Ghiyathin, Director of the Community Awareness Department at Aman Center, underscored the center's keen commitment to participating in awareness initiatives throughout the summer period, during which key topics related to the concept of social protection are addressed. Through these efforts, the center seeks to highlight the fundamental steps necessary to protect children from any potential harm, while offering appropriate solutions that contribute to shaping a child's character and instilling the values of protection and responsibility among children and young people.

Ms. Hanan Al-Ali, Director of the Communication and Media Office at Aman Center, likewise affirmed the center's dedication to activating community partnerships with various entities across the State. She noted that collaboration with the security sector plays a vital role in advancing the center's vision, mission, and strategic objectives aimed at strengthening social protection for its target groups - namely, children and victims of family breakdown resulting from violence - while working toward their reintegration into society. She concluded by emphasizing that the collective efforts of all partners contribute to building a more aware and cohesive society.

Every summer, in coordination with its partners across the State's various sectors, the Center delivers a series of Aman awareness workshops, aiming to reach and educate as many children as possible on the mechanisms of social protection and how to safeguard themselves against potential harm.

Targeting Qatari youth and adolescents born between 2011 and 2015, this year's edition of the " Leaders of Tomorrow " program is designed for those seeking to build physical fitness, cultivate self-reliance, and sharpen leadership skills over the summer months, running through July 2026. Under the full supervision of a specialized team of educational professionals, the program unfolds across two daily sessions, morning and evening, and combines military and sports training with awareness and guidance activities. Bringing together several entities across the State - among them the Qatari Foundation for Social Work and its affiliated centers, including Aman, Nama, and Daam - the program also incorporates field visits to a range of institutions throughout the State.
